Prior to joining American progress, Jean worked at the Motley Fool. Before that, she was the online communications fellow at the Women’s Campaign Forum. She also interned at the National Organization for Women during her summers in college.

Jean graduated in 2010 from the George Washington University with a major in international affairs and minor in women’s studies.
