Mic Check Radio
Mic Check is a free, daily radio prep service that provides audio clips of politics, entertainment, and other current events we think you ought to know. We update our site with the latest news from Washington, Hollywood, and any other place where salacious stories grow.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending company events to record, time code, and transcribe event clip
- Working with Audacity software to cut audio clips from company events, congressional hearings, press conferences, and other clips as needed
- Researching different policy, political, and "water cooler" news sites and blogs to make sure Mic Check stays current each day
- Working with social media such as Facebook and Twitter to promote Mic Check
