Sarah Ayres
Research Associate
Sarah Ayres is a Research Associate in the Economic Policy Department at American Progress. Her work focuses on tax and budget policy.
Prior to joining the Center, Sarah handled economic and financial policy as legislative assistant to Congressman Rick Boucher (D-VA), a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. She was also the field director for New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch's successful re-election campaign in 2008.
Sarah has a B.A. in government and sociology from Dartmouth College. She grew up in Hanover, New Hampshire.
