Stephen S. Cohen is professor in the graduate school and codirector of the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a frequent advisor to governments in the United States and abroad and to international organizations, and is widely published in both academic and more general media. He lives in San Francisco.
