Daniel Wagener

Managing Editor

Dan Wagener is Managing Editor of the Online Communications department at American Progress. Prior to joining the Center, Dan was an intern in the communications department at the National Alliance on Mental Illness. He has also worked in the mental health field, receiving a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in English from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was a reporter and editor for the college newspaper. Following college, he was an intern with Style Weekly magazine in Richmond, Virginia.
