Daryl Ditz
Daryl Ditz is a senior policy advisor in the chemical program at the Center for International Environmental Law, or CIEL, in Washington, D.C. Over the past 25 years, he has worked at the state, federal, and international levels on a range of environmental issues including chemicals management, pollution prevention, and public "right to know." Daryl is an active contributor to efforts to reform U.S. federal policy on chemicals. He has participated in campaigns for passage and implementation of REACH, the European chemicals law.
Previously, he coordinated a national campaign for U.S. ratification of the Stockholm treaty on persistent organic pollutants, or POPs. Previously, Daryl led business engagement for the World Wildlife Fund's Global Toxics Program with a special focus on Europe. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a Ph.D. in engineering and public policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
