Oil Contributions To Senators Up For Reelection

Last week 35 senators voted against an amendment that would have reigned in the oil and gas industry. The 16 senators voting against the amendment that are up for reelection next year have received considerably larger campaign contributions from the oil and gas industry that their colleagues, as the table below shows.
