CAP Action Supports Better Implementation of Contractor Responsibility Database

The Center for American Progress Action Fund urges the Obama administration to fix the proposed rules implementing the contractor responsibility database so that the database captures a company’s complete record of legal compliance, is available to the public, and can be properly used when determining a company’s record of business ethics and integrity. Significant and/or repeat violators of workplace and other laws are likely to continue receiving federal contracts if these changes are not implemented.
