The State Progress project at the Center for American Progress works to advance the progressive movement at the state and local levels by: amplifying and supporting the work of state and local progressive electeds, groups, and individuals; building connections; and facilitating communication within the progressive movement between local, state, and federal actors and working in partnership with state and local actors to promote and develop bold, innovative and new progressive ideas.
