Lotanna Obodozie is an advocacy associate for Generation Progress, managing its climate change campaigns. Previously, Obodozie was an assistant program officer at the Washington, D.C., office of the Local Initiatives Support Corp., a community development nonprofit focused on creating inclusive and resilient communities in Washington, D.C. There, she managed the team’s capacity building initiatives through working with nonprofits to strengthen their programs, led the office’s food equity work, and managed the fellowship program.
A Bay Area, California, native, Obodozie moved to Washington, D.C., to study at the George Washington University, where she received a B.A. in environmental studies and sustainability and worked with organizations committed to natural resource protection and advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys biking, complicated cooking and baking projects, photography, and combining the last two.
