Zoe Willingham is the research associate for Economic Policy at American Progress. Willingham studies economic concentration and antitrust policy, with an eye toward its impacts on workers, farmers, and small businesses.
Prior to joining American Progress, Willingham spent three years organizing with the Service Employees International Union, UNITE HERE, and United Students Against Sweatshops before conducting labor policy research for Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) and the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. Most recently, she conducted original statistical analysis of the gender pay gap in Durham County, North Carolina, and presented her findings before the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women. Willingham studied public policy and statistical science at Duke University.
