A slowing economy bodes poorly for a president who sold out the workers for whom he promised to fight.

With one year before the 2020 election, the economy is slowing, Trump administration policies are wreaking havoc, and communities—especially in the Midwest—are feeling the pain. It all bodes poorly for an incumbent president who promised to fight for forgotten American workers but has betrayed them at every turn.
