Framing Trump’s Record and Approach on Climate Change

A recent poll by CAP Action and the League of Conservation Voters identifies some of the messages and facts on climate change that are most salient for key voters in shaping their views on President Trump’s climate record.

A recent poll by the Center for American Progress Action Fund, in partnership with the League of Conservation Voters, identifies effective messaging in 2020 on President Donald Trump’s climate record. The survey was conducted with three key groups: persuadable, Latinx, and younger (under 35 years old) voters. These voters overwhelmingly view climate change as a priority and are concerned about Trump’s approach and policies on the issue.
