David Correa is a research assistant for the Economic Policy team at American Progress. They previously worked as an assistant for the Wheelhouse Institute and the California Education Lab at the University of California, Davis. During this time, they worked to investigate questions within education policy and support community college leaders throughout California. They earned a B.A. in economics with a specialization in poverty and inequality from the University of California, Davis.
