Anona Neal is a research associate for Inclusive Economy at American Progress, primarily focusing on the intersection of the economy and women’s issues. Prior to joining American Progress, Neal worked as a program facilitator with the nonprofit Girls Inc., based in greater Houston, where she focused on expanding advocacy and increasing girls’ knowledge of social justice-related issues. She graduated from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and social policy analysis.
