RELEASE: Secretary Tom Perez to Deliver Remarks on Resetting the Poverty Debate 50 Years After the Launch of the War on Poverty

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, October 29, Secretary of Labor Tom Perez will deliver remarks at the Center for American Progress Action Fund on the lessons of the five decades since the launch of the War on Poverty and our need to renew our commitment to cutting poverty.

The report will also outline a pathway forward, recommending a set of policy priorities to bring more families into the middle class.
