PRESS CALL ADVISORY: Sprint to the Finish: Community Experts Discuss ACA-Related Local Efforts to Enroll Latinos in Texas, Florida, and Arizona

Washington, D.C. — As the deadline for enrolling in the insurance plans offered through the Affordable Care Act, or ACA, draws near, outreach efforts to Latinos are ramping up across the United States. Recent enrollment events in key states such as Texas, Florida, and Arizona have proven successful and show the Latino community’s growing interest in gaining access to health insurance. A number of Latino Enrollment Summits will take place in Texas over the next few weeks as the enrollment deadline approaches.

Please join us for a joint CAPAF-NCLR press call on Tuesday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. ET to discuss how the ACA benefits Latinos and the local-level outreach and enrollment efforts in key states as we draw near to the end of the open enrollment period. The press call will be conducted in English, but participants will have an opportunity to ask questions in both English and Spanish.
