ADVISORY: Experts Expose the Real Story Behind the Latino Electorate in 2016

Center for American Progress Action Fund, Latino Decisions, and Political and Field Experts Address Exit Polls, Turnout Strategy, and the Future Role of the Latino Vote

Washington, D.C.The Latino vote played a pivotal role in the 2016 election across battleground states. Yet, the results of the election prompted a divisive debate over Latino voter turnout and performance. On Tuesday, December 6, the Center for American Progress Action Fund will host a panel of experts to expose the real story behind the controversy regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s support among Latinos.

CAP Action’s Angela Kelley, Latino Decisions’ Matt Barreto, The Raben Group’s Estuardo Rodriguez, and political adviser Emmy Ruiz will also take a closer look at the exit polls, robust voter engagement operations, and the policies needed to increase Latino turnout in future cycles.
