Press Conference Comes Days Before GOP Votes on Bill That Gives Massive Tax Cuts to the Wealthy at the Expense of Middle-Class Families
Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, before Republicans vote on their disastrous plan to give tax breaks to millionaires and wealthy corporations, Not One Penny and the Center for American Progress Action Fund will host a press conference with Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) and people that will be harmed by the Republicans’ tax plan. The constituents speaking at the event will show how Trump and congressional Republicans’ tax framework overwhelmingly benefits the wealthiest Americans, while millions of working families will see tax increases and the elimination of critical deductions that families depend on.
The press conference is coordinated in partnership with Tax March, Americans for Tax Fairness, Little Lobbyists, and other progressive organizations working against Trump’s tax scam.
