Washington, D.C. — The Center for American Progress Action Fund is withdrawing as a co-sponsor of the September 23 presidential climate summit hosted by The New Republic and Gizmodo.
CAPAF strongly supports the idea of giving the candidates a forum to address climate change. But it is not possible for us to continue our association with this summit after publication of an op-ed in The New Republic that does not reflect our values.
