Navy veteran: Trump is no “wartime president”

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

Wartime presidents don’t pass off the blame. They take responsibility.

As one emergency room doctor and Navy veteran told us, “A wartime president needs to be decisive, and they need to have a carefully planned strategy. It needs to not be changing every hour or every tweet.”

Trump is no wartime president. His “strategy” to combat coronavirus consists of ignoring public health experts, failing to take critical action to slow the spread of this virus, and lying to the public to pass off blame.

As the U.S. approaches 60,000 deaths and 1 million confirmed coronavirus cases, the price of Trump’s chaos is more clear than ever.
