Washington, D.C. — Becca Siegel joins the Center for American Progress Action Fund as the organization’s first chief insights officer, where she will lead the polling and analytics program and electoral campaign activity. She will also guide CAP Action’s political outreach, working closely with elected officials and other high-level stakeholders to translate progressive ideas into winning policy messages.
“I’m honored to welcome Becca to the team,” said Carlissia Graham, the president of CAP Action. “Her keen polling and political messaging expertise will inform CAP Action’s advocacy and help us make a compelling case for progressive policy positions that resonate with American voters.”
Most recently, Siegel oversaw polling, analytics, and voter outreach strategy for the 2024 Biden and Harris presidential campaigns. In 2020, she served as chief analytics officer at Biden for President. She then joined the White House COVID-19 Response Team as a senior adviser, using data to shape federal pandemic and vaccination efforts. Prior to the Biden campaign, she led the data science team at BlueLabs Analytics and has held data and programmatic roles on campaigns across the country.
Siegel holds a graduate degree in statistics from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. She first began her career as a community organizer in her home state of Colorado.
“We’re living through a historic moment in the United States,” said Siegel. “CAP Action plays a vital role in both articulating the very real threats this administration poses and in presenting a vision for what America could look like under new leadership. Armed with polling, analytics, and other messaging insights, I’m excited to help shape our approach to this crucial work.”
