EVENT ADVISORY: Arizona Sen. Ruben Gallego To Join Pritzker, Murphy, and Raskin at CAP Action’s Post-Election Event

Washington, D.C. — Arizona Sen. Ruben Gallego is joining the lineup of elected officials speaking at the Center for American Progress Action Fund’s “Results to Roadmap” event on November 5.

Gallego will discuss how to bring voters back into the fold and appeal to Latino voters frustrated with the cost-of-living crisis and brutal immigration enforcement tactics by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He will also address how policies directed at the working class build majorities.

Other announced speakers include Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy, and Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin.

These leaders have been crisscrossing the country to speak with voters in the run-up to this year’s midterm elections and will share their takeaways on what’s driving the demand for change nationwide, how accountability messaging worked in races across the country, and how we can address the role of corruption in government.

CAP Action’s post-election analysis will feature these and other elected officials—along with polling experts and political strategists—to interpret the results of the midterm elections and discuss what they mean for the road ahead.

Drawing on key races and voter data, as well as the campaign managers involved in critical races, the event will assess where the electorate moved, how successful candidates built winning coalitions, and what the results suggest for governing in the new political landscape. It will also examine how to navigate an anti-incumbent political climate and the core lessons from 2026 that will shape the presidential primary.
