Washington, D.C. — Faiz Shakir, Vice President at the Center for American Progress Action Fund and Editor-in-Chief of ThinkProgress.org, is available today to provide comment and analysis on the links between Anders Breivik, the Oslo terrorist responsible for the deaths of 76 people in Norway last week, and a set of “experts” and researchers in the United States. Think Progress has detailed how Brevik’s manifesto contains hundreds of citations to Islamophobic bloggers including 162 links to “Jihad Watch,” a blog by Robert Spencer. The chart below, “Manifesto Citations,” reveals that the bomber and attacker heavily read and used materials from pundits and think tanks in the United States:
