Natalie Baker is a director of economic analysis for Inclusive Economy at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Baker worked in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, including as a director in the Australian government’s in-house think tank and as a senior consultant for public sector clients at KPMG. Through these roles, she has delivered projects across a range of policy areas including labor markets, social services, economic development, child care, justice, higher education, and environmental policy. She holds a master’s in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a master’s in international and development economics from the Australian National University. In her spare time, Baker enjoys hiking and being in nature, going to the theater, and cooking elaborate meals for friends and family.
