"As this new EPA analysis shows, the Waxman-Markey energy jobs legislation before Congress is a great deal for hard-working Americans: for less than a postage stamp a day, we can create millions of clean-energy jobs here in America, reduce foreign oil use, and make America the leader in creating the clean-energy technologies of the future. With China investing $12.6 million every hour in greening its economy—six times comparable to U.S. investments—and American families paying $1,100 more for energy because of the failed Bush-Cheney energy policies, this analysis shows that this bill is a great deal. However, that will probably not stop conservatives from ‘just saying no’ to millions of clean-energy jobs."
