Watch this if you have a preexisting condition

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

“That would hurt so many people, and I’m one of them.”

Trump promised that he would give all Americans “great” health care and protect people with preexisting conditions. He’s broken that promise time and again with his administration’s obsessive attacks on the Affordable Care Act.

First through failed attempts in Congress and now through the courts, the Trump administration is taking aim at health care for tens of millions of people.

For the 130 million Americans with preexisting conditions—like Cheryl Morrison, a Charlottesville native who lives with post-traumatic stress disorder—these broken promises have devastating consequences.

Share Cheryl’s story on Facebook and Twitter to show your friends and family what’s at risk:

It’s bad enough that the Trump administration would hurt people with preexisting conditions, but that’s not all:

  • Coverage losses: If the Trump administration succeeds in repealing the Affordable Care Act, 20 million people will lose their health coverage completely.
  • Premium increases: Health coverage is already getting more expensive because of the Trump administration’s ACA sabotage. Premiums for the average family have increased by $3,110 so far, and it will only get worse.
  • Drug prices: People are dying in the U.S. because they can’t afford outrageously expensive prescription drugs. Instead of keeping his promise to lower drug costs, Trump’s administration gave pharmaceutical companies a massive tax cut and then idly stood by as they hiked prices of life-saving medications like insulin.
