Senator Edward M. Kennedy will give an address to the Center for American Progress Action Fund on the nomination of Judge Samuel Alito and will discuss the many reasons why his no vote is a vote for progress. Senator Kennedy will convey in full the reasons for his opposition, raising some objections that weren’t covered during the hearing. He will also discuss the impact his confirmation could have on the future of the country.
