Ignore the gun violence epidemic

Gun violence is an increasingly dangerous problem, both in Nevada and across the United States. The Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence gave Nevada an “F” for the strength of its gun laws in 2015. And even though the GOP presidential candidates oppose all gun restrictions, most Nevadans want that grade to improve. A 2014 poll found that 78 percent of Nevada voters supported requiring a background check for every gun sale.
