Gun violence is an increasingly dangerous problem across the United States. And even though the GOP presidential candidates — who have collectively received $229,842 in donations from pro-gun group — oppose all gun restrictions, most Americans want expanded gun safety measures.
A 2015 poll found that 93 percent of Americans support requiring a background check for all gun buyers.
