Frederick Bell is the associate director for State Climate Policy at American Progress. Before joining American Progress, he served as campaign director for the Delaware Democratic Coordinated Campaign and as campaign manager for a D.C. councilmember. He brings experience in democracy advocacy as well as climate and energy policy, with a focus on coalition building and delivering practical solutions. He is also a former Climatebase fellow, a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and a devoted dog lover.
A Louisiana native, Bell earned his B.A. in political science from Tulane University. He splits his time between Washington, D.C., and New Orleans.
