The middle class in this country is struggling, which is a big reason why our economy also continues to struggle. The good news is that there are loads of progressive ideas (here are 35) about how to revitalize the middle class. The bad news is that conservatives are still clinging to their failed, discredited trickle-down theory, which has just resulted in the rich getting richer at the expense of everyone else.
