Bigotry, hatred, and broken promises

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

“I believe anybody who’s fit to serve this country should be able to.”

Trump promised to do everything in his power “to protect LGBTQ citizens.” Instead, from health care to military service to housing access, his administration has launched relentless attacks on the rights of LGBTQ+ people.

Based on nothing but bigotry and hatred, Trump’s administration banned transgender Americans from serving in the military, harming countless servicemembers like Tavion, a transgender veteran from New Hampshire. Here’s what Tavion told us when he shared his story:

“How I identify or who somebody loves shouldn’t even be a factor. I’m just wearing a uniform, and I’m serving my country, and I do it well. And to have that retracted [by] somebody who never served…It’s heartbreaking.”
