China, I need a favor, though

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

Trump said the quiet part out loud again

Trump’s abuse of power has reached a new level. Forget extorting foreign governments in hidden phone calls. Now, on the White House lawn, he’s openly asking China to investigate his political opponent.

This morning, in front of television cameras, the president brazenly asked Ukraine and China to investigate his political opponent and his family. In effect, Trump broadcast his impeachable offenses to the entire world. This is a pattern for Trump:

  • He extorted Ukraine into attacking his political opponent (“I would like you to do us a favor, though”).
  • And today, he urged China to investigate Biden (“China should start an investigation into the Bidens”).

Let’s be clear: The president of the United States is asking foreign governments to interfere in our elections. And abusing his power in public doesn’t make Trump’s misconduct any less impeachable.

This is unprecedented corruption—even worse than Watergate. Share this graphic on Facebook and Twitter to explain why:
