In a speech to oil industry executives in Fargo, North Dakota, on May 26, 2016, Donald Trump outlined his energy agenda. For friends of the environment, it was not encouraging. Trump, who has called climate change a “hoax,” suggested getting rid of the Environmental Protection Agency and promised to rescind the Clean Power Plan and the Paris climate agreement. Trump’s policies would be bad for the environment, the planet, and the economy.
