Since President Biden’s American Rescue Plan was passed last month, federal, state, and local officials from across America have been using its funding to provide critical relief to states and localities struggling under the coronavirus pandemic. This past week, officials from both parties praised the opening of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, which provides over $28 billion in funds from the American Rescue Plan to struggling restaurants and small businesses. Additionally, nearly one million people have signed up for coverage under the Affordable Care Act following its extended enrollment window and subsidies provided by the American Rescue Plan.
