Help Is Here Roundup: Federal, State, and Local Officials Continue to Praise American Rescue Plan…

Federal, State, and Local officials from across the country continue to see benefits from the American Rescue Plan for their constituents months after its passage.

State and local governments continue to use ARP funding to revitalize their communities. In Maine, Governor Janet Mills announced that $128 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds would go towards Maine’s effort to expand broadband internet service. In Wisconsin, Governor Evers announced that $25 million in ARP funds would go towards investing in urban transit systems. And in Michigan, Governor Whitmer proposed $200 million in ARP funds go toward replacing lead service lines to improve access to safe drinking water.
