Last week, the US Treasury started distributing the $350 billion announced to State and Local governments to help provide critical relief to localities struggling under the coronavirus pandemic. Officials also praised $36 billion in American Rescue Plan funds made available by the Department of Education to support struggling students and institutions impacted by the pandemic.
