Trump’s war on health care continues

Three years and four budget proposals into his presidency, Trump has made his priorities crystal clear: massive tax cuts for the rich and large corporations, paid for by working Americans like you.

Trump’s new, $4.8 trillion budget is just a manifestation of his broken promises. Trump has promised over and over again not to cut Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security. Now, Trump’s administration wants to pay for his tax cuts for the wealthy by slashing Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act by more than $1 trillion—on top of devastating cuts to Medicare and Social Security.

Also on the chopping block? Funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and other crucial programs upon which millions of Americans depend.
