McConnell’s delays on coronavirus bill are costing lives

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

Senate Republicans must pass coronavirus bill now

Instead of passing the emergency coronavirus bill that Americans desperately need, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took the weekend off.

In that time, coronavirus deaths rose to nearly 70, and confirmed cases in the U.S. spiked to nearly 4,000. Meanwhile, Trump is still spreading disinformation and contradicting the nation’s foremost infectious disease expert.

Despite Trump’s lies, the coronavirus crisis is not under “tremendous” control. As the experts have said over and over again, we are in dire need of free, widely-available coronavirus testing, paid sick leave, and more—all of which are in the House bill that McConnell continues to block.
