In July 2026, the Center for American Progress released a policy platform designed to serve as a foundation for leaders who want to reclaim their footing on LGBTQI+ issues, defuse attacks, and, in so doing, defend civil rights protections for all Americans. The Center for American Progress Action Fund has created a memo to demonstrate how to discuss these issues.
