The Network for Progress campaign sought to influence the outcome of two ballot initiatives in Colorado that would have redressed the so-called "Taxpayer Bill of Rights.” This was passed years earlier in Colorado and championed by right-wing ideologues, including Grover Norquist. The site launched eight days before the vote and provided a tool that allowed people to email their friends in Colorado.
