Rally to make your voice heard: Nobody is above the law

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

Rally to make your voice heard: Nobody is above the law

On Wednesday, the House is expected to take up two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Here’s what we know. Trump asked a foreign power to interfere in the 2020 election for his own political gain. Then, he tried to cover it up. If anyone else engaged in a similar bribery scheme, they’d be charged with a crime.

That’s why tomorrow night, Tuesday, December 17, more than 150,000 people will take to the streets at over 500 rallies in all 50 states to send a clear message to Congress: The American people won’t stand for a president who thinks he is above the law. Share this tweet to spread the word:

Here’s what to expect following the rally:

On Wednesday, the House is expected to convene for a floor vote on two articles of impeachment against Trump: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

If the articles pass in the House, the process moves to the Senate, which will hold a trial in January.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has already made it clear he doesn’t want a fair process, and has openly admitted to coordinating all of his actions with Trump’s counsel and blocking key witnesses and evidence from coming to light.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has outlined in a letter to Mitch McConnell the Senate Democrats’ demands to have key White House witnesses testify in the trial.
