Redacted.

It's another day in Trump's America—and another day to stand up for what's right. Get the facts to fight back.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s first (heavily redacted) sentencing memo for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn is telling. Here’s why:

  • Mueller recommended 0-6 months of jail time due to Flynn’s “substantial” assistance to “several ongoing investigations.”
  • Flynn met with investigators 19 times, and the redactions suggest it wasn’t about perfectly benign topics.
  • The memo references at least one entirely new criminal investigation with which Flynn is cooperating.

The Moscow Project noticed another interesting clue in the pages: new details surrounding Flynn’s phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak (phone calls Flynn previously lied about).

  • Mueller’s document suggests that Flynn’s calls with Kislyak during the transition were, in Moscow Project’s words, “part of a quid pro quo: pulling back sanctions on Russia in exchange for their help during the election.”

The pattern continues. Just as Michael Cohen and Trump lied about Trump Tower Moscow, Flynn lied to the FBI about the purpose of his phone calls with Russia. All along, Russia knew the truth, increasing their leverage over all of them.

Mueller has already established collusion. Now the question is just how much does that collusion—and the endless lies covering it up—compromise Trump and the security of this country?

A CORRUPTED ELECTION.

North Carolina’s 9th district is embroiled in a battle over election fraud by the GOP candidate’s campaign.

Republican Mark Harris’s campaign is accused of fraudulently submitting absentee ballots for their candidate and discarding ballots for his opponent, Democrat Dan McCready.

The Charlotte Observer Editorial Board called for an entirely new vote today:

Voters in the 9th District deserve the confidence that their election was free from fraud…The evidence already demands it. The Board of Elections should start the election over.”

House Democrats are also weighing in. Incoming House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer made it clear that Democratic House leadership won’t seat Harris until a substantial investigation has been conducted and resolved. Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) called for an emergency hearing into the election fraud.

Unsurprisingly, most Republicans remain steadfastly silent.
