Trump’s impeachment defenses are crumbling

It's another day in Trump's America—and another day to stand up for what's right. Get the facts to fight back.

Americans condemn Trump’s impeachable offenses as more details emerge

If your head is spinning after this weekend’s impeachment developments, you’re not alone. Let’s break it down:

  • Jennifer Williams, Mike Pence’s special adviser on Europe and Russia, condemned Trump’s extortion of Ukraine during the July 25 call.
  • State Department aide David Holmes testified on Friday that he overheard a phone call between EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland and Trump, during which they discussed the investigations that they wanted Ukraine to open into Trump’s political opponent. This came after Tim Morrison confirmed that Sondland was acting directly on Trump’s orders when he tied military aid to a Ukrainian investigation of Trump’s political opponents.
  • Meanwhile, a new ABC poll found that 70% of Americans think Trump’s demand that Ukraine investigate one of his political rivals was wrong. The American people recognize Trump’s misconduct for what it is: abuse of power.

Share this gif to spread the word: Trump tried to bribe a foreign government to interfere in our elections—something the Constitution defines as impeachable.
