Veteran to Congress: Remember your oaths

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

“The moment we allow somebody to act above the law…we lose our democracy.”

Those are the words of U.S. Air Force veteran Sarah Samere. Like all U.S. service members, like members of Congress, and like the president of the United States, Sarah took an oath to defend the Constitution.

Will her members of Congress, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) do the same?

That question applies to all Republican members of Congress. After a damning week for Trump—after Ambassador Taylor’s testimony, after Republicans’ shameful attempts to distract from Trump’s impeachable offenses, and after public support for impeachment rose to an all-time high—every member of Congress must choose: Will they put country over party and protect our democracy?
