Other world leaders did what Trump wouldn’t

It’s another day in Trump’s America—and another day to stand up for what’s right. Get the facts to fight back.

Why does the U.S. have just 4% of the world’s population, but over 30% of its coronavirus cases?

Answer: Trump failed to address this crisis. Other world leaders didn’t.

Many other world leaders stepped up. They mandated social distancing and enacted widespread coronavirus testing. They provided direct financial relief to their people.

Case in point: South Korea. South Korea announced its first confirmed COVID-19 case on the same day as the U.S. and—unlike Trump—established extensive testing and got the virus under control without having to shut down the economy.

Trump spent months lying about the severity of the virus and failing to take critical action to slow its spread. Now, nearly 70,000 people are dead in the U.S., and 30 million Americans are unemployed.
