As trust in traditional media declines and legacy social media platforms continue deprioritizing news content, digital consumers are turning to content creators and influencers to make sense of current events. This shift is happening quickly: More than 70 percent of American adults under age 30 report following an influencer on social media, and a majority report that influencers sway their decisions about what to buy.

As such, digital strategists across the progressive ecosystem are adjusting to this new reality by collaborating with creators to ensure their message breaks through online.

Please join the Center for American Progress Action Fund for a series of panels and breakout discussions to debrief on collective learnings from the past year, explore how digital practitioners have forged effective partnerships with content creators, and discuss how we can adapt to a rapidly changing digital media environment in the years ahead.
