The right to vote is one of America’s most cherished and foundational rights. Unfortunately, the ability of Americans to participate meaningfully and fully in our elections is under attack. Following last year’s election, which highlighted significant problems in voter access to polls and attacks on voting rights in communities across the country, and on the heels of this spring’s Supreme Court case, Shelby County v. Holder and the establishment of the President’s commission on voting, many efforts are under way to improve voting access in America today at the state and federal levels.
Please join the Center for American Progress Action Fund for a special presentation highlighting several of these reform efforts meant to improve voter access, voting rights and election administration.
