Ben Verdi is the director of analytics on the Digital Strategy team at American Progress.
Verdi previously served as global innovation manager for Grant Thornton International. In 2020, he was named the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy’s Cybersecurity and Technology Fellow, and in 2017, he was appointed to both the Commission on Employment and the Beautification Commission for Alexandria, Virginia. He has served as a Finance and Communications Fellow for the Maryland Democratic Party and as a volunteer coordinator for Hillary for America.
Verdi earned his Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, and he is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.
